ELP has helped me realize that leadership does not come from specific qualities or ways of acting, rather a desire to make a difference and a passion to complete the task at hand. I found so many of the classes very powerful as we learned more about each other and ourselves. I think it is amazing how we came in the class not knowing exactly what to expect and came out as stronger leaders and people. Most importantly to me was actually something fairly small that happened in class. When the panel of student leaders came I remember one of them said, "It's super easy to start a club on campus, all you need is a constitution and 15 members." After hearing that I decided that I wanted to start up Rotaract at SCU (a club that had once been here). It's amazing how such a little comment made me realize this is something I want to do.
We made a lot of good memories in class as well. Now whenever I think of good and bad I will always think to Betty and Billy and try to be more like Betty. Overall, this class helped me learn a lot about who I am and how to work with other people.
Again I look forward to working to begin Rotaract and hopefully it will become a successful club on campus. I will also continue to use the skills I learned in this class throughout my time at SCU in group projects as well as in life in general.
Thank you all for a great quarter!

Tuckman's Stages of Group Development
Video #1:
Stage 3:
The players resolve the conflict and accept diverse ideas. They begin to work together to help the kid who can't finish his workout. By offering to do push-ups and suicides for him, they become a cohesive group.
Video #2:
Stage 5: Adjourning
They accomplish their goals: Aladin gets together with Jasmine and the Genie is set free. Aladin and the Genie both feel a sense of loss because they will no longer work together, but their ultimate goal is accomplished and both get what they want.
Video #3:
Stage 2: Storming
The two players do not get along and a conflict arises. They are both negative and show their suppressed tension.
Video #4:
Stage 4: Performing
All the fish and the pelican work together to help save Nemo. They come together, form a plan, and execute it in order to get Nemo back into the ocean.
My Video:
Stage 1: Forming

I chose this video to describe Forming because both characters seem excited to "start something new." There are not conflicts yet because the characters have just met.
